  • STEP 1 : Build A More Muscular Back

    This actually serves two purposes.

    First it draws any loose, flabby stomach skin upwards to give a flatter, more toned look to your abdomen. Any loose skin will be drawn upwards as your posture improves, and your muscularity increases.

    The second purpose of this is to create the famous V-taper.

    A wider back and slimmer hip area will create that natural V-shape that all men want.

    It’s a trick utilised by Bodybuilders for decades. As a more muscular back will cause a natural taper of your body. Bringing about the appearance of wider shoulders, a great posture, and more importantly, a flatter stomach.

    STEP 2 : Reduce Your White Carbs

    What do I mean by ‘White Carbs’?

    A loose definition would be anything that’s delicious is usually white carbs. Potatoes, rice, pasta, bread, crackers etc. It’s terrible to say, but for those of you who have read our previous articles, you’ll know that these foods are NOTgood for you. They are called Starchy Carbs.

    Basically starch is how plants store sugar, so when eating these foods, you’re essentially having a sugary treat. Which is terribly inconvenient when in pursuit of a beach body.

    Sugar spikes your body’s insulin levels, and STOPS your body from burning any fat, and instead, convinces your body to store some.

    It’s true that in a calorie deficit you can eat these foods, but the truth it, the more you spike your insulin levels, the more water your body will store too, to process the digestion, and storage of such sugars. (Fat has to be stored with water in your body).

    Therefore, the best thing you can do, to reduce your body’s water retention, and to burn more fat is to totally cut out white carbs from your diet completely.

    The less you sugar you take in, the more fat you’ll burn.

    STEP 3 : Get Effective Rest

    Sleep is the most important ingredient to your progression. A well rested man, is a man that can grow, create testosterone, burn stubborn fat and recover.

    Stomach fat is often referred to as brown fat, or stubborn fat, because it’s notoriously hard to get rid of. It’s the final fat store that your body wants to use up, as it accompanies some vital organs. Your body needs that fat, and is isn’t going to let go easily.

    However, scientists have proved that in a deep sleep, your body will burn this stubborn brown fat more easily through the night.

    You’ll often wake up lighter, and with a flatter stomach, and that is due to water retention, and the burning of fat while you sleep.
